Following the success of the under 21 footballers it was back to the Junior County league last weekend with an away fixture against Kilmurray last Friday night. This was a good game of football despite Caheragh missing a number of players. The final scoreline of 1-17 to 0-12 in favour of the home team is not a fair reflection of how the game went as Caheragh played well and Kilmurray only pulled away in the last few minutes. In the recent Championship draws Caheragh received a bye in the round of last 16 and will play Barryroe in the quarter final.
The Junior C footballers were away to Clan Na Gael last week in their second league game and suffered a narrow defeat on a scoreline of 2-5 to 0-8.
